The Mission of the American Morgan Horse Institute, Inc. is to operate, maintain and administer educational facilities, including an historical collection and exhibit, which shall be open to the public and which shall be designed to preserve the traditions surrounding the development of the Morgan Horse, and to fund research, clinics, classes and demonstrations in connection therewith;

To cooperate with the American Morgan Horse Association to increase public appreciation of the accomplishments and qualities of the Morgan Horse by funding multi-media outreach to the public, apprising them of the unique characteristics and qualities of the Morgan breed or any activity that is required to accomplish these goals.
